I have a question about Superman and his code (Details inside)?

I thought Superman wasn’t suppoed to kill, yet in Superman two Superman kills General Zod… And to double the crime Lois lane kills Zods henchwoman Ursa. Zod and Ursa had lost all super powers so was killing them murder?
