Why is it, that in "activity that I'm following," some questions are boldly underlined and others are not?

Does someone choose which question gets highlighted or emphasized?

that’s weird. i don’t have that in my activity following page. can you show a screenshot of what your page looks like?
please note: sccrowell fell asleep while crafting her response. I’ll switch off her iPhone in a little while (if she doesn’t wake up shortly…she’s been working hard long hours so I rather doubt it). Then again, the phone is plugged into the charger so there are no battery issues. I may just let it be and let her wake up to fluther. Now keep the noise down, guys.
The only thing that gets highlighted is if you asked a question. It will show:
(highlighted) ——>you asked: your question
Is that what you are talking about? That’s all I see in the “activity you’re following”.
