General Question

Does the Facebook Ticker show EVERYTHING I "like?"?
If I find a Facebook Page on cupcakes, but I don’t want to share with the world (or even my Facebook Friends) that I “like” cupcakes, I would put that page in an unshared “Cupcake Interest List.” Would the simple fact that I “liked” that page in the first place cause it to appear in the ticker? Even if I categorize it in a private (un-shared) interest?
Is there a way to view what shows in the ticker from my account?
