Where can one legally train and practice the skill of pickpocketing in Alberta, Canada?

Interesting that pickpocketing and magic are simular.
So take magic as a training ground.

@talljasperman I guess the modern pickpocket is using credit card skimmer…I am looking for old fashioned slight of hand.

When I was very young, I tried to replicate the description of a pocket being picked. It came from Oliver Twist and I tried it on my father. He was not pleased, but understood the explanation – done “purely in a spirit of scientific inquiry.”

Do you wish to pickpocket in Alberta, or just train to pickpocket there and then….you know…. pickpocket in the city or your choice ?

@OneBadApple Build the skill so it could be used at a renaissance fair for fun in a contest, no crime involved as all would consent in a game over a week. No cutpurses just strait surface stealing.

I’m not understanding at all. Do you want to pick pockets—be a street criminal—or do you want to learn sleight of hand as a performing art?

@SadieMartinPaul I just want to understand Dungeons and Dragons better so I can be a realistic Dungeon master and better fiction fantasy writer…. I tend to spend lots of time wondering how and what if… Its my hobby. So to be a street criminal, but not using any of these skills except to show off or if I need some slights of hand in an emergency…I think these skills , like bouldering on a mountain fun, and I would like to try it.

I was hoping for a YouTube link or some advice starting a dungeons and dragons fantasy society in Red Deer Alberta. My adventure days are over… That and I am chicken to do anything fun any more…
