Call your doctor for new prescriptions.
Is it a chain? If it is Walgreens, all Walgreens have a record of the medication.
If you have the bottles, you can just bring them in to a new pharmacy and they will take care of calling the doctor for you and getting you refills. It might take a day (business day) for them to get it all done, but they might try while you are there and if the doctor’s office picks up you could get lucky on the spot. Don’t wait until the last minute though. Don’t risk running out of pills if it is important. The pharmacy will most likely have an easier time than you contacting your doctor, because they are more likely to take a pharmacy call on the spot and not have them leave a message. But, the other option is to contact your doctor yourself.
I would bet that a new pharmacy would know how to get the records ftom the old pharmacy or at least would call your doctor for you. Whenever a pharmacy closes around here the other pharmacies put up ads with incentives trying to get you to transfer your business.
Contact your doctor and have him write a script for another pharmacy.
Was it a chain? If so, your records should be in the system. If not, pick another pharmacy tell them what happened and have them contact your doctor’s office for prescriptions.
Contact your physician for new script and ask for “trial size” to get you through the time it takes to get a new pharmacy.
