Lots and lots of tomato base, mushrooms, ham, jalapeƱos, chillies, pepperoni, spicy sausage, more chillies and a little cheese,
I prefer extra sauce on a cheese pizza. I might get adventurous now and then and ask for bell or hot pepper.
Anything but pineapple.
But my own ultimate pie:
Onions, green peppers, LOTS of black olives, mushrooms, spinach, and extra fresh mozzarella, maybe a little ricotta.
I like mine a few different ways. First I want to mention I don’t like a very thick or spicy sauce or when it is too acidic.
Plain pizza, which in my workd means red sauce and mozzarella.
Sauce, mozzarella, sausage, mushroom, and green pepper. The sausage can not be that crumbly kind, it needs to be good mild Italian sausage sliced the long way.
no sauce, mozzarella, chicken, potato.
Cheese, and eggpant with or without sauce.
No cheese, sauce, eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms.
Fresh tomatoes very salted, small amount of mozzarella, fresh basil.
Sometimes I sprinkle a little hot dried pepper on top after baking, depending on my mood.

If I’m not in the mood to splurge, though, I would just choose onions and green peppers, or spinach and olives.
I love a bunch of different toppings, especially when I’m making my own pizzas but my go to order is Pineapple and Bacon
Pineapple on pizza is just wrong. I can’t imagine an Italian or a New Yorker putting pineapple on a pizza and they basically are the authority on the topic. Ducking with my hands kind of shielding my head hoping no one from Chicago is around.
Hubs gets pepperoni and cheese, I like Greek or Taco pizza’s.
My favorite? Greek pizza with feta, gyros meat, greek olives. Yum.
“Belly buster” with everything and all the way, including anchovies.
Pepperoni and black olives with extra cheese, Italian sausage, bacon, and mushrooms. That sounds really good right now.
I’m like a sentient garbage disposal, I pretty much eat anything, so I’ve no real favorite toppings. I will say I guess, I’m especially fond of anything spicy. Banana peppers, jalapeno peppers, super hot and spicy Mexican sauce.
I’ve never had anchovies though, wonder if they’re as gross as many say?
Do they actually taste like fish?
Not really, in my opinion. It’s just slightly crunchy, oily salt. I don’t understand why everyone thinks they’re such a big deal. I mean, I’m not going to go eating them out of a tin or anything, but they’re not bad.
Gonna have to try em some day, always been curious. I don’t actually know of any pizza places that has those as a topping though.
Pretty much anything except anchovies.
And I’ll take everyone’s pineapple hate- I occasionally like the Hawaiian Pizza, which is pepperoni, ham, pineapple, and extra cheese. It’s quite tasty!
Anyone ever have bananas on a pizza? Amazing.
@uberbatman : I’ve never tried that, but I bet it would be good because I remember that bacon + bananas is amazing, and pizza has a similar savory gestalt… I have done starfruit on pizza, which is quite nice :)
Ya know, I used to always think starfruit was a boring bland fruit until I had one down in Central America. They’re quite tasty indeed, I’d imagine that would be good on pizza, I’ll have to try sometime.
My favorite pizza is a thick crust combination, but my favorite topping is probably mushrooms. They really can make or break a pizza. I am also a big fan of linguisa.
Chicken, mushroom, bacon, onion, mozzarella, tomato, sometimes egg, potato, aubergine, basil. Here they put bbq sauce on pizza sometimes but I dislike that. Too sweet. I prefer tomato. I also don’t like pineapple on pizza or on burgers (a Queensland thing .. ugh).
Sun-dried tomatoes, goat’s cheese, and pine nuts.
Our go-to pie is fresh garlic, onions, and pepperoni.

Those who found it weird that I don’t much care for pizza & didn’t contribute here, calm down, it really doesn’t matter :)
I have two favourites. One is all the veg – onion, mushroom, green peppers, olives, and jalapenos. The other is just anchovies (the salty sort you get in a can of oil). Both with tomato and mozarella, of course, on a thin base. I’m not crazy about meat on a pizza but I like strong flavours.
Anything and everything!! And especially with a lot of pepper flakes. But if I had to narrow it down, I’d choose Hawaiian pizza, pineapple and ham. Mmm!
Just about any kind of mushroom tastes great on a pizza, but I especially like shiitake mushrooms.
I also love pickled jalapeƱos on pizza.
I also like the combo of broccoli, artichoke hearts and ricotta cheese with fresh basil and fresh garlic with a pesto sauce.
