I hate when that happens. I tried Googling it and got a bunch of results for Kickstart My Heart by Mötley Crüe. lol
Can you remember any other lyrics at all?
Can you give us a melody? A sequence of pitches?
If you remember the tune try humming it or whistling it here
You might need to download it, not sure if they have an in browser version.
@XOIIO Very cool! Does that app work pretty well? I’m going to have to download it.
Like @Bobosiapoy23 I tend to get songs stuck in my head and I have no idea what they are.
@Katniss For songs yes, even with a super small and poor quality recording it gets the song a lot, I’ve never hummed anything though.
It sounds like every song playing on those TV monitors while I work out at the gym. Generic, nondescript, and pretty much interchangeable…
Soundhound is awesome. I have it on my iPhone and use it all the time.
Wish I’d had it 30 years ago. In the ‘80s I heard a musical piece on my car radio that absolutely knocked me out. I pulled over to the shoulder to wait till it was finished so I could find out the name. Naturally, the DJ didn’t say, and I spent months hunting for it. It turned out to be the Pat Metheny piece called “Are You Going With Me?” and to this day I love it.
There was a site where we all did an “accent challenge” once about two years ago. I forgot the name of it but you can go there if someone can tell you the name of the site, and post the audio on there. The only other thing I can think of is to keep googling or sing the song to someone you know, in person.
Too vague. Now if it were “whooooaaa” or “yeaaaahh, baby,” we’d have a better shot.
@Katniss Kick Start My Heart was the first thing I thought of.
