Has anyone here ever effectively gotten rid of or significantly reduced their cellulite?
I’m a tall, curvy 24 year old female. Maybe 5–10lbs overweight at the most right now but I don’t “look” overweight by most people’s standards.
I’m pretty small through the waist but I’ve noticed the past year and ½ my thighs getting heavier and well..looking like cottage cheese. I hate it and now I never wear skirts or shorts and would rather fry in the summer than show anyone my legs.
Has anyone ever done anything that’s REALLY helped their cellulite? As soon as I get back to the US I plan on working out and going back to clean eating to lose 10–15 lbs but I’m afraid I can’t do anything about these lumpy fat deposits all over my legs.
HELP!

I would love to know the answer to this as well!
I would assume that walking or jogging might help?
On Keeping up with the Kardashian’s, Kim got hers removed. It was a machine that shook her butt super fast.
I don’t own the machine, but if any of you ladies need help, I’m available.
@lemmy lmao
You might want to try some workouts like squats with some weights and diet if you’re interested. Add some muscle tone to your body.
I think the only effective want to get rid of cellulite is if you are willing to pay for it. This video is interesting until you basically realize you are most likely going to have to pay to find out what you have to do. Does it work? I don’t have a clue.
Some cellulite is sexy and natural. Maybe you could send me some pics to help you out better…... ;)
Just kidding. I don’t have a real answer for you.

As a fashion photographer, I have super thin, young ladies hanging around the studio in their underwear all the time. News flash!... They all have cellulite that smashes out when they sit down. These gals are 5’9” to 6’ tall between 105 and 120lbs. Thin thin thin runway models with the gangly cheekbones and ribs poking through skin. They have cellulite. I airbrush it out of their photos all the time. They often bring magazine photos of close up hip and butt shots to me and ask why those women don’t have cellulite. Always for some beauty cream ad or soap something. “Well”… I say… “They’ve either been heavily retouched, or they hired an 11 year old girl for the ad”. Simple as that.
Seems the healthier ones, who eat properly and work out regular routine have less. Most of them have some degree of stretch marks too. Some quite severe. I’m no expert, but I get the impression that cellulite is more related to lifestyle choices than weight.
My experience has been that an alkaline based diet helps, a lot!
For the most part it is hereditary. Some people are simply prone to it. I know I started to get some after my two children were born. Luckily I didn’t get it really bad but I exercise and from time to time I exercise using sauna shorts. The sauna shorts really help decrease the dimpling.
Yes, but having monthly injections of high dose testosterone is probably a little too drastic for the average woman.
@genjgal Have you tried it?
@downtide Where there any side effects? Was it for a pre-existing medical condition or did you do it for cellulite?
@LeavesNoTrace I’m transsexual and I use it as part of my medical transition from female to male. The usual side-effects, my voice broke, I grew body hair and facial hair, and have started to lose what’s on my head. Disappearance of the cellulite was an unexpected bonus.
@LeavesNoTrace No, because my cellulite doesn’t bug me enough to spend that much time on it. My mom does and has definitely noticed her skin tighten. She also uses some of Theresa Tapp’s oils.
