What is the best email provider?

I want to set up a new email account, primarily for coworkers to communicate about work issues off of the job-provided server.
I have an AOL email at present for personal use, and lately, coworkers have been saying that emails to me and others with AOL are coming back “return to sender.”
I heard Gmail is good. Any suggestions?

Gmail for free is great, if you are willing to pay a small monthly fee and have high speed access Earthlink Premium Mail or they have a monthly dial-up for a slightly higher rate.
I use gmail and love it. I also have accounts on yahoo and hotmail, and the gmail one is by far superior.
Nothing even comes close to gmail.
I’ve always used Roadrunner, and tolerate the occasional annoyances which go with it. My wife and daughter keep encouraging me to open a Gmail account, which they both use, and love.
Gmail is very, very good. Be aware, however, that it is a Google product, so having a gmail account affects your browsing life in ways that other email accounts don’t. So, when you’re logged into gmail, you’re also logged in when you use Google for searching, and when you use YouTube to watch videos. Depending on how you feel about your privacy, this can be annoying, or it can be no issue at all. Also, they tend to tweak the interface occasionally with no warning, and there is no support from Google for issues – this is largely made up for by the fact that the whole world uses gmail, so you can usually google your issue and find out whether there is a solution or not. But sometimes you can’t. There are also contextual ads, although even for someone who abhors ads, I don’t find these intrusive.
The pros include the fact that it’s free, has lots of storage, an excellent built-in chat and video chat, and the best spam filtering I’ve ever seen. I use it, and will for the foreseeable future.
I’m a big fan of Gmail…and pretty much all Google products. For me, Google+ has it all over other social media sites.
Gmail. I’ve used pretty much all of them over the years, Gmail is really good.
I have Gmail and Yahoo! I find Gmail is faster in terms of sending/receiving email (in general), but I think the Yahoo! Interface is easier to use and looks better – enough so that I rarely use my gmail.
I think google products in general don’t have good usability.
Email is a very complicated thing, and the best provider for you depends on what you want to use it for.
The best provider is a competent sysadmin who knows you and your needs better than you do. Such a person can set up a mailserver with whatever feature set you might want. You might not be able to find that person, or afford their services.
It’s possible that the “best” email provider might not be what you want. Personally I want one that is “good enough” and also “free”. I have a gmail account, because it is both those things. I am aware of the many drawbacks and failings of gmail, and my gmail account is not my only account. (I do know the person described in the second paragraph, and that person has been willing to set up lots of neat things for me.)
Don’t use AOL. AOL is pants.
If you have concerns about Gmail and privacy, you can try Fastmail.
It was started by a few guys who are absolute mavens about all things email and they built it to be highly configurable. They basically started it for themselves so they could have all the features which were important to their discriminating taste. And it just blossomed from there.
Also, there’s good support as they and some of the heaviest users hang out at an email forum and answer user Qs and discuss tips.
A basic account is free. I’ve been using it for years in addition to Gmail and I always keep an account open.
They have overhauled parts of the UI numerous times in response to what their users have requested.
Take a look around their site and see what you think.
If you’re looking for best email service provider then GMAIL is the best. You can blindly trust on it for better services. Presently there are more user interface themes these days available on Gmail, and an option also to use any kind of image you prefer for the background. It’s never been good, but it’s looking far better these days.
