Has anyone else experienced a brain chill?
Head shiver?
Whatever you call it, it feels somewhere in between a numbness or a cold sensation (leaning more towards cold) that washes over the surface of my head.
I’ve googled it. But seeing that I don’t know exactly what to call it (and neither do other people, it would seem), results are limited.

Not spontaneously without a cold drink or ice cream.
Then again, a killer happy brownie might simulate the effect. lol
Sometimes I get a weird prickly feeling on the left side of my head. It feels like when your hand falls asleep and it’s trying to wake up. I hate that..
Ugh, yes! I get that sometimes when I’m super tired and it’s like the middle of the day and I’m out and about. I never thought anyone else got it.
Only when I drink or eat something very cold. We call it “brain freeze”. Is that what you’re talking about, or is it just happening out of nowhere?
@rory I’ve had them during the day and at night. I am really curious as to why we get them. It doesn’t seem like it’s that common. Can I ask how long you’ve had them?
@augustlan Nope. Definitely not a brain freeze. That’s cold (not numb-ish), the entire brain (not the surface) and definitely related to eating something cold.
