Can Suiseki thrive in an urban environmen?

Are there any practicioners of Suiseki with stone specimens found in urban environments?

The stones would need to be translocated from natural settings to an urban environment. But if there was interest on the part of the people, I don’t see why this couldn’t work. There may be examples of urban suiseki in metropolitan Japan, but I am not well-versed on their existence.

Sorry I can’t be more helpful. It’s quite a general question with no real answer. The best way to find the answer is to try it!
