Sick or cool? What do you think of using breast milk in this way?

What’s sick about it? It’s one of those individual choice things. If you’re nursing your kid and have some extra milk why not?
I remember having a freezer full of milk. I wish I would have thought to put a stick in it!
Great idea!! The ultimate renewable resource. No negative environmental impact.
I can’t understand why anyone would object.
Lollipops made of actual breastmilk – cool.
Lollipops made of crap that are flavored like breastmilk – gross.
Yes, that is fine and I agree but making pendants out of it??????
Fine with me. On a hot day or when a baby is teething a cold popsicle might be helpful.
They should market them popsinipple…make a small fortune.
ALL WELL AND GOOD BUT PENDANTS????? Is there any use for that??????
@ZEPHYRA – is there a use for half the crap that is sold as jewelry? Why is this any different?
Some peeps have rabbit foot pendants swinging around their necks, brings them luck apparently, nowt as queer as folk
OHMIGOD WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING??????
IT’S JUST BREASTMILK, WHO THE FUCK CARES???????
These pendants look pretty to me. I hadn’t heard of preserving it in this way until I saw this. Wish I had known of it when I was breastfeeding my son.
As for the lollipops and the popsicles…AWESOME on the parts of these moms. I did use breast milk ice in a breast milk bottle when I was nursing my son for summer, away from the house feedings. I see nothing unusual or odd about this practice whatsoever.
Odd that we drink cow-tit-snot everyday but somehow find human breast milk gross.
@johnpowell – one difference is that I would NEVER want to drink from the cow’s udder directly, but I would have no problem drinking from a female human’s.
“Would you like a nice cup of milk den diddums?”
I really don’t care. The popsicle is a great idea. The pendant? People have been putting weird crap around their necks for centuries. I’d rather have my mother’s breast milk saved in a pendant than her skin, teeth or bones hanging from my neck. The milk pendant is really not that weird, considering all the much weirder stuff people have made into necklaces.
We can have this but not ice cream made from breast milk?
Ah well, keeping Austin weird.
My experience when I was nursing is that breast milk is an incredible aphrodisiac. At least it was for my first husband.
I find the breast milk pendants are just odd, but then some people put cremated ashes in a pendant. I like the idea of popsicles for kids (the child from the mother) since it contains such goodness.
