If you want to stick it in your ear, this is where to tell about it. Nose rings, cheeks… Now wait a minute. Not your ear but your rear? Those cheeks? Then you may want the NSFW version of this question.

Piercings I’ve had:
- Two holes in each ear lobe – still got ‘em, but hardly ever use ‘em
– Nose (nostril) – had to take it out for school and the hole closed up
– Cartilage at top of ear – had to be cut out due to infection
– Belly button – got infected, no remedy fixed it, took it out
Piercings I want:
None. :) I’d like a second tattoo, though.
As to what’s “okay,” I think whatever the hell you want to pierce, you should pierce. I just won’t be doing it with you.
Not the tongue. It causes a speech impediment. I also find eyebrow piercings very distracting when I try to look at someone.
I’ve had 6 or 7 ear lobe piercings, including 0 gauges (but I’m working on shrinking them back down now). One cartilage (sp? That word looks wrong to me no matter how I spell it!)
No piercings anywhere else, although in another lifetime, I would love to have been able to have an eyebrow ring.
On other people, I really like the more exotic ear piercings—industrials, rooks, tragus, etc. I think that lip rings can be hot, but they can also add kind of an infantile look. Maybe it’s just some unfortunate association from my past.
I think it’s weird when people have negative space pierced—as in, their cheek, or the back of their neck, or their wrist or something. But hey, not my body.
The only thing I know is that the first time I saw a bridge piercing, my stomach did a major flip-flop and I kind of gagged.
I don’t care if or where you have body piercings, but if you have an infected piercing, don’t play with it while taking my order at the cafĂ©, or in any food service industry for that matter.
I have a hole in each ear and one in my nose.
I’d love to have my lip pierced, but I feel like I’m too old for that now.
I think any piercing is okay if you want it, as long as you don’t go overboard. By overboard, I mean the people I’ve seen who go to extremes with like twenty or thirty facial piercings. Or they have their lip and eyebrow pierced, with a chain running between the two… That’s just weird, to me.
I have multiple ear piercings and my tongue pierced. I’ve had my nose and eyebrow done in the past, but took them out a while back. I’m considering having my nose redone.
As long as you’re happy with it, it’s not infected, and you don’t look like some bizarre freakshow act, you’re good.
@marinelife It doesn’t do that for everyone. I don’t talk any differently than I did without my tongue bar. In fact, my grandmother never knew I had one until I showed her.
@livelaughlove21 You’re already way out of my league.
@marinelife I sure would never think of doing my tongue. It would interfere with my favorite oral pursuit, which I can post, as it is definitely NSFW.
@bookish1 And here we see the generational gap in desires. I want NONE of the above.
@RandomGirl Bothers the hell out of me too.
@WestRiverrat Copy that!
@Katniss I’m walking, living proof that as long as we are breathing, we’re never too pold to do something else that’s stupid. ”-)
@WillWorkForChocolate Thanks. Your world is very different than mine. Look at the age difference and go figure. But I totally agree that the stitched up and wired together look of horror movies was meant for that venue, horror movies. To me, it’s NOT attractive in the least; in fact it is the exact opposite.
I have no desire for any piercings in my own body but on some people I think lip or nose piercings can be attractive. Ears of course, but I don’t like stretched ones. Personally I would far rather have another tattoo.
@ETpro Just two. One on each upper arm.
