When you're asked for a proof of address which bills do they tend not to accept?

What document do they (whoever is going to give you an identity card) refuse to accept as proof of address but you think they should?

Utility bills or tax documents.
@Tropical_Willie Those are the ones they do accept.
@flo It’s usually things like personal letters, or magazines, or junk mail that are not acceptable. My kids school needs to see a government agency letter or document (tax letter, DMV notice) and the electric company or cable or phone bill.
@zenvelo that makes sense to me. Is there a document you find is in the list of not acceptable but really should be?
I was thinking of apartment leases, by the way.
Oh, yes, apartment leases for sure! My kid’s school asks for that too!
So, is it only the schools that ask/accept it?
