Can you help me find the beautiful, large blue bird some jelly posted on Fluther a few months ago?

What was the post related to? Do you remember the question? Was the bird a parrot, or something else?

I seem to remember a Great Blue Heron. Was that it?

@syz I don’t, unfortunately. I think the link may have lead to a page called something like “I love evolution”...but I’m not sure. The bird was pretty big, looked a little like an ostrich. Long neck, beautiful eyes, and it had an unusual name. That’s all I can recall.

Could it have been on this thread? There’s a big blue bird (a shoebill) on the link that I added (WTF, evolution?), but I’m not sure I’d call it beautiful…

The only large, blue birds with long necks that are coming to mind are the Heron or a Peacock. Could it possibly be a Peacock?
