Hibiscus outside during the day, in at night. Any problems with that?
I just bought two Hibiscus plants that I plan on keeping outside during the day. Tons of light! I’ll bring them inside at night.
Will that hurt the plant at all?

It’s a plan but sounds exhausting for the plant’s owner. Gardening is supposed to be fun. Leave them out until danger of real frost and then try to overwinter. (That may be a problem since they really belong in the ground where the root system can grow and establish itself.)
They are not designed to be permanent pot residers. And they are not designed for the cold end of your growing range, if you are talking about S**nia.
And you’ll need a plant sitter for the times you’ll be away for a few days with instructions for watering.
I have four in pots on deck and I leave them out until around October or November, and in the house until April or so.
I don’t understand why you are bringing them inside at night?
Why not leave them outside during the summer months? Just bring them in when the evenings get cold.
I was being a bit silly. I wanted to look at them in my living room. Haha That lasted one night. I lugged brought them downstairs this morning and they’re in full sun and loving it.
My Dad has two. Keeps them in huge planters. He’s had them for years. He brings them in in the winter and lugs them out each summer. I’ve always admired their beauty!
That just sounds like good parenting!
