I’ve heard of both but I’m not particularly sure what diuretics are and I don’t know if they’re the same thing or if they’re different. Anyone else know or know of someplace I could find out?

No, dietary supplements are usually considered to be added nutrition, such as vitamins and minerals.
Diuretics are for the purpose of getting liquids out of your body through urination.
Diuretic are prescribed to assist people with specific and serious health conditions. They are not safe to use for weight loss. Unless prescribed by your doctor, they can be dangerous to your health.
Dietary supplements are things that you add to your diet. It might be a drink you consume to help boost your intake of minerals and vitamins.
They’re two totally different things.
“Diuretic” just means that it promotes urination. Some consider coffee to be a mild diuretic.
@likipie Diuretics are nothing to fool with. They remove fluid from the body. They also remove electrolytes, such as potassium and sodium. If your Dr puts you on them they will also monitor your electrolytes. It can be dangerous to use them unsupervised.
Not at all. Diuretics remove water from your body. They should not be taken unless prescribed by your doctor.
There are natural diuretics, food herbs and drinks.
Actually even water is considered a diuretic. I have a small list, remember moderation and balance.
Parsley, tea(green), watermelon, tomatos, cabbage, cucumbers, dandelion (the flower part can be found any place that sells herbs usually, but taken as tea is most common) Most people find these two bitter and are an acquired taste, nettle same thing they have nettle tea, beets, brussel sprouts and the list goes on.
My sleepy brain is having trouble recalling more.
