The parents are considering it from what I understand, and I believe they should and will win. No one seem’s to understand that if he hadn’t left his vehicle armed, the police would have confronted Treyvon in a professional, trained manner and he’d probably be alive today.

We don’t really know how GZ initiated the confrontation. It the 911 tape he was telling the operator that Martin was staring at him then began walking toward Zim. If I understand that right, Zim was just there by his car and Martin walked back and approached him. There is no duty to retreat, or hide inside any vehicle whether a person has a gun or a pez dispenser. I think it would be hard to prove that Zim was itching for a fight by just standing there like a dolt watching. It clearly looks like he got caught by surprise judging buy how he got marked up.
I know the burden of proof is not as high in civil court cases and I have to assume the rules are also less for a defense atty. We are bound to see his council be allowed to drag up all the criminal complaints against martin as well as the kinds of exotic street drugs he was clearly involved with. His momma will not be able to accuse them of character assassination because with these I think it can now go both ways. So much stuff was kept from the jury before.

I almost sort of hope they try, just for my selfish curiosity.if for nothing else

@woodcutter I watched some of the court proceedings and based on Jeanete’s story, she was on the phone with Trey and he was complaining about this white guy following him, etc…sounded like he finally confronted Zim when he’d had enough of the stalking. I probably would have done the same and been killed, too.

@KNOWITALL I sort of have my suspicions that she might be somewhat of a liar. But then again I be a creepy azz cracka, mon.

@woodcutter Do ya think? I don’t, I found her entire story pretty plausible except she knew she should have called them cops, but she tried to stay out of it (for whatever reason.)

Creepy azz cracka? You’re a silly cracka anyway….lol

I’m not sure Ms. Jeanette was much help to the state on this one. They seemed to detect some inconsistencies that made things fishy.
