A sound shower, of course.

Is the technology fine enough yet? Doubtful.

Is there such a thing for real? I thought they made that up on StarTrek.

Great question. The real sonic shower used water, just in minimal amounts. Low frequency sound waves were used to vibrate the water, helping even a small amount do its cleaning. It was developed in the mid 70s by – IIRC – McDonnell Douglas Astronautics’ Huntington Beach, CA as part of their work for NASA developing technology to allow for extended manned space flight.

I have a Claresonic Facial Brush but I don’t think I would want to use it for a whole shower. ~
