@ragingloli So true. In other places and times a man in power (and women in power) who do not have lovers are considered suspect. But here in the US sexting is cause for resignation?! Then the whole walk of shame and apology tour? America decides who is worthy of forgiveness, and you either get another public office or a spot on CNN hosting a show.

@GoldieAV16 True it shouldn’t matter but being that corrupt officials are so good at covering up other things, this at least shows that he doesn’t understand the meaning or loyalty or of being honest. He only confessed because he keeps getting caught. I could care less if he fools around or is a pervert. That is between him and his wife. But all we ever see of candidates is the tip of the iceburg. The bigger the ice on top the way bigger crap is on the bottom.

If the man doesn’t want to be judged, either change his image for real or be honest about what he really is or don’t run for office. Your life is going to be picked apart. But lets be real. This man is a lawsuit waiting to happen and it will come out of taxpayers pockets. Not his.

The wife has no choice right now because he is running for office, so if he wants any chance of winning, his wife has to stand by his side. After the race is over, anything goes. It’s politics.

Of course she has a choice. She could either divorce him or insist he get seriously into therapy.

But she has chosen to subsume her family’s welfare to his political ambitions.

It’s not as if a woman of her capability couldn’t find plenty of decent jobs available to her.

But this was her choice just as Hilary’s choice was to remain with Bill. It’s not as if either of them were bereft of options.

(But I think that Bill was a lot more lovable and genuinely contrite.) there’s such a weaselly vibe to Weiner (despite what his brother said the first time this came to light) that I’m surprised nobody has nicknamed him Weiner the Weasel.
