Nope. All myths. Crack away.
MYTH! It’s just releasing the gas in the joint area between your bones. The pop/crack sound you hear is from the suction.
It feels soooo nice! I’m a compulsive popper. :/
It’s not gas. It is synovial fluid. Guessing doesn’t count.
So…soft-tissue damage to the joint capsule could possibly be construed as “bad.”~

there’s no damage. nothing is torn or removed or stretched. Gas just pops out. :/ like a joint fart.
