Don’t you need a prescription? Call your vet and ask him.
It used to be available only by prescription (most commonly for women’s yeast infections) but is now available OTC. And it’s the same stuff whether used for women’s yeast infectiins, ringworm, jock itch, or athletes foot.
You can find it on the regular shelves at any drugstore or the pharmacy section of most grocery stores.
It’s available in both cream tubes or as a spray with powder.
A brand name I prefer is Lotrimin because I’m familiar with it but you can also get generic versions.
There is no age restriction. Just pick it up off the shelf and go to the checkout counter. No problems.
No, if it’s available OTC there is no age restriction. You can buy it yourself.
Age restricted products in the OTC health section are usually limited to diet pills and, in some areas, morning after pills. I am not sure if sufafed has an age restriction or not. I just know that they ask for my license when I buy it so they can see if I am buying too much.
You can buy it. It will possibly be lower strength than prescription strength, but should work anyway if your diagnosis is right.
You can get it at most large clean 99 cent type stores.
