What are some uses for parsley stems?

I was going to say stock as well.

You can boil them, then put them in the blender with some bullion or juice and make yourself a vege drink.

I just cut ‘em up and use them just like any other vegetable in whatever I want to put them in. I never throw them away.

Chop them up very finely and add to any vegetable dish or soup or scrambled eggs with cheese. Or use them chopped finely as a garnish on dips or spreads. Use them and breadcrumbs to stuff mushrooms or zucchini. Don’t waste them.They are full of vitamins.

Soups.

I hear they are good breath fresheners.

Parsley Pesto

You can also make an Herb Sachet if you don’t want to directly eat the parsley stems. You put them into a little cheesecloth bag, and steep them in a way that is like steeping a tea bag. The stems will impart a nice, rich flavor to stocks and stews.

This Parsley Oil that is served over pickled shrimp, calls for parsley with the stems intact.
