Can someone explain why there are tons of people who believe Beyonce and other pop stars are demons and part of a cult?

Because they are idiots.

Lots of people define themselves largely in terms of what they’re against, so they populate the world with threats and enemies. Oddly, that siege mentallity strengthens their sense of self. For some, it’s gays; for some it’s Jews; for some, it’s popular culture icons.

Does anybody else remember the old “if you play this record backwards, you can hear Satan speaking”? (This was in the days of physical records on a turntable long before MP3s)

It’s much easier to assign fault to others than to yourself. If I behave badly, “the devil made me do it.” To place demonic influences in pop icons takes a lot of burden off oneself ;-)

Excuse me, but where are you hearing/seeing/witnessing someone that claims that about Beyonce? I think “tons of people” is a bit of an exaggeration.

Reminds me of when people used to say that if you played Marilyn Manson songs backwards, they were all Satanic prayers and incantations. But in truth, if you play Marylin Manson songs backwards, they’re all cake recipes.

@zenvelo well I was trying to watch her super bowl performance on youtube, and when you type in “beyonce super bowl” into the search box at the top, the immediately following search suggestions are as follows:

beyonce super bowl 2013 illuminati
beyonce super bowl 2013 possession
beyonce super bowl 2013 illuminati exposed
beyonce super bowl 2013 sasha satan

If those are the most recommended suggestions associated with the performance, I would think that’d be a sign that quite a few people are searching for that or looking for it right? More people than you may realize

And it you may not hear about it because you might not listen to hip hop music. I do and it seems like a lot of media conspiracies talk about illuminati, demons, and so forth. It’s prominent enough to the point where interviewers have asked them about it on talk shows and whatnot (different people, multiple times) so it’s not like it’s a rarely heard thing. Also, different artists even in their own music have mentioned how people think they are part of illuminati
