My tablet pen is really shaky?

I have a Wacom Bamboo tablet that I got back in 2011. I don’t really use it much, mostly because I prefer drawing traditionally, but I’ve been using it for some drawings, but the tablet pen is really shaky. My hand will be completely still but when I draw a line the line is really shaky. Does anyone know why this is? How do I fix it?
