In my mind, it’s a 15 year old boy who actually thinks he just said the wittiest, most original thing ever.

Someone who has been submitting short stories to publishers and then receiving unanimous rejection slips who still believes s/he can write interesting fiction with the appearance of verisimilitude.

Someone who finds humor in things I never would find funny. I am not much of a prankster type. I don’t like to make fun of other people or lie. It’s all the same sort of thing to me.

I know a troll. He’s 50-something. Normal as hell, in an off beat, funny kind of way (my kind of guy!) He’s a lot of fun. Until you mention something innocuous like, you happen to like McDonald’s egg McMuffins. Then he goes full on psycho! We’ve been friends for about 6 years (since Wisdm) and he went full on psycho on me yesterday on fb (even unfriended me,) AND full on psycho on an old HS friend of mine who had majored in organic chemistry. She reported him. We were talking in PM and she said she kind of knew him from other organic websites and he’s been banned from them all. He was banned from here about an hour after he came.
I’ll bet any Wisdmr can tell you instantly who it is!

I was able to by completely ignoring his rants and his douchebaggery questions. We have a lot of fun, otherwise. You know how he is. But then he went off on me personally (which I never even responded to—he got into it with another fb friend of mine but it was on my thread) so I guess that’s the end of that!

Someone who is unwell or extremely bored and wants attention or under the influence of friends or drugs/drink ~ very anti-social!

@Dutchess_III How tragic is it that a 50-something man has nothing better to do than hang out at a computer and stir-up trouble? A man of that age should be preoccupied with succeeding at a career, paying his mortgage, putting his children through college, etc., etc. The person you’ve described could easily pass (online) for someone in junior high school.

He said he has cancer. Has had for several years, so he says. I haven’t heard from him in months and can’t find him on fb. So, your guess is as good as mine.
