This may be a dumb question but...

Welcome to fluther. That’s your points or score, also known as lurve. When someone gives you a great answer you get 5 points, when you ask a question and someone gives you a great question you get three points. They don’t really mean anything and they are totally worthless, but there a fun way to comment on good answers or questions. 10,000 points gets you in to the fluther mansion. A totally imaginary place.

And this should probably be a meta question, but since its social, welcome to fluther. This is a great community. I hope you like it here.

@Kairi Just be a little careful. It can get a little rough at times if you don’t have a thick skin. We have moderators to keep things civil but they can’t be everywhere. But enjoy it. I’ve been here for a while and I really like it.
