What pets do you like best from movies/TV?

Any domesticated animal that appeared in a film or on the tellybox.
Could be your average pooch or moggy, or maybe a more exotic beast.
Either from a documentary/factual environment, or a purely fictional/dramatised work.

Paws down, my choice is Eddie from “Frasier.”
Lassie (when are they remaking any of those?) & the monkey in BJ & the Bear.
@Pachyderm_In_The_Room My little Mona is a rat terrier and looks a lot like Eddie!
Another vote for Eddie from Frasier.
Forgot to list my faves, let’s remedy that right now…
Scooby Doo, just because.
Milo, the pooch from The Mask, because he kicked arse.
The best by far though is Snoopy, he’s simply Joe Cool, playing the fool.
@KNOWITALL, I have a cat, but that’s one little dog I’d consider adding to my household!
A horse is a horse;
Of course, of course.
I did love that Mr. Ed on TV.
From a film I like Jerry Lee from K-9.
From tv, I liked Wellard from Eastenders, and that lovely little dog in Doc Martin, can’t remember his name.
EDDIE! I got a Jack Russel due to him and just adored her.
Cringer was pretty kick ass when he turned in to Battle Cat.
I would also take either a Gentle Ben or a Flipper if given the chance.
wow, those sound like exotic sexual favors . . .
Asta from The Thin Man, Smartest movie/TV pet ever.
@zenvelo Oh yes! Asta is great and so are the films!
@Blondesjon “Flipper, Flipper, faster than lightening, no one you see——is smarter than he…”
Gosh, I loved that show in the 70’s- lol
Eddie Crane! He’s so cute.
Marley, from Marley and Me, even though he broke my heart. :0(
Coto and Poto, the ferrets from Beastmaster
I was really expecting @ragingloli to say “Cujo”.
I would say “Dog” from “The Road Warrior”.
Lion king and all the animals here—anything that is not real, I try really hard not to support this.
Sorry for ruining the fun. It’s sad, I know!
P.S. I love Bolt, I wanted the movie and my husband win it for me from our local radio station. B-)
won
ALF is cool. Scooby too. ♡Snoopy too but don’t forget Woodstock♡
Santa’s Little Helper from The Simpsons.
“You’re so wise, you’re like a miniature Buddha.”
“Baxter you ate an entire wheel of cheese? Wow I’m not even mad, I’m kind of impressed!”
And if you don’t know what movie this cute little dog that gets punted off a bridge is in then…
I don’t know…be ashamed and such.
@ucme You have earned my respect. Yes sadly that’s all it takes with me.
And thank you. It’s nice to be here. :)
Jim the border terrier from Mike and Molly.
Scruffy the wire terrier from the TV show The Ghost and Mrs. Muir
Gary from Family Guy
Duke the bloodhound from The Beverlly Hillbillies
Snoopy
Pete the Pup from The Little Rascals
@Kardamom You mean Brian, Gary is Spongebob’s pet snail.
^^ Yes sir, you are correct : )
@monochromatic Baxter you know I don’t speak spanish.
Baxter was cool, but Salem the cat from Sabrina was my favorite TV/Movie pet. Technically he was like a warlock turned into a cat as punishment or something but whatever he was there is just something about a cheesy robotic talking cat with an attitude that makes me smile.
Skip from the movie “My Dog Skip”
@bunnyslippers i’ve got you beat anways with Tod from the fox and the hound. There’s no beating that cute little guy, he still makes me cry everytime. :’) best movie ever.
@ucme hey happiness is what it’s all about right, shallow or not?:)
Bobby in This version of Greyfriars Bobby. I notice that there is a more modern version where they used a Westie which isn’t true to the actual story.
