I've read about it but does anybody here drink beet root juice? Why?

I’ve been reading all about the benefits of beet root juice, powder and possibly capsules and wondered what benefits you’ve received from using it and how you take it.

I have had beet juice before, it’s what is in borscht. Tasted good to me, sweet. But I don’t drink it for any health reasons, because I don’t like to drink overly sweet juices.
Just grate a raw organic beet or two into your evening salad. Better than bothering with the juicing, which is inefficient, time-consuming and messy.
Or roast a few. Roasted beets
I love beets, I have juiced them but be warned it’ll make a mess if you are not careful. I just bake them in foil with sea salt, olive oil and lemon juice now. Hard to beet it.
They are so unpopular our store doesn’t carry them. I bought the capsules since I detest the taste and wondered if I could expect some benefits.
No, but I drank it when it was in stock in my house. I drank it for the purpose of increasing my iron intake, and it also tasted nice. I have to admit that its consistency was quite thick and it wasn’t the most thirst-quenching. This might be why I didn’t re-stock.
