I have a wii that has only been used for Zelda games. What else should I get for it?

They really do need to make a new Banjo Kazooie.
DK Country Returns & Mario Kart.
I would kill for a new Banjo Kazooie.
The Super Mario Galaxy series is really good.
Okami is the game that taught me what beauty and aesthetic appreciation is.
Similar incarnations of this question have been asked often in the past including one familiar to you. That might be a good place to start looking for titles, considering most of them will be available as used games by now.
My younger brother is currently replaying the Pikmin series as he plans to buy the third one once we can get a good deal on the Wii U. Trauma Center: Second Opinion is an old game that I really enjoyed, although it is challenging and rather short.
I did the same exact thing. I bought one just for Zelda. I only bought one other game, Smash Bros. I’m an adult now and don’t have the time to play like I used so I lost interest quickly. That and I like the older NES and SNES games better.
With that being said I’m glad I got the Wii. I used it mostly to play old games on the Wii Virtually Console. I know there is emulation for Free but I enjoyed seeing these game on a TV screen with real controller.
ALSO, there are some great games for Wii Ware. Mega Man 9 and 10 were awesome. I’m currently playing Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. It’s direct a sequel Final Fantasy IV from SNES.
I can’t recommend you much because I’m fairly new to this system and because most good games have been listed by everyone here. But if you are a horror games lover you should try Calling. I watch some let-play videos on Youtube and it looks cool.
Ha ha, I’m the same way. Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Ocarina and Majora on the Virtual Console.
My son is apeshit for the Mario games. To me, though, Mario is all about competition between Mario and Luigi, and the new games in which they’re supposed to work together are just annoying. It’s incredibly distracting to have two (or three or four!) other people stealing your Fire Flowers and throwing turtles at you and pushing you into holes. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is fun. The first one is meh.
I know people who REALLY REALLY love the Resident Evil series. I have three RE games, but I haven’t bothered to try them out yet. I’m not much of a first-person type player. I want puzzles, not hand-eye stuff.
” I want puzzles, not hand-eye stuff.”
Me, too.
I was even online searching for “games like Zelda”.
Definately Mario Kart, it’s fun for all ages. If you hook to internet, you can download a bunch of old games, too, like Pac Man and all kinds of cool stuff.
You should get Homebrew Channel first and foremost. This would of course mean conducting what’s known as a “Soft-Mod” on your Wii. Best thing I ever did.
I have a library of a couple thousand games ranging back from Atari 2600 to NES up to classic Arcade games and even a few N64 games among other systems, all on a little SD card. I can boot my Wii games from an external hard drive.
It’s free to do , by the way, and not that difficult.
(Also, I second the idea of Okami. Amazing game, great for Zelda fans).
@gambitking I’ve heard that there is a significant risk of bricking the Wii by installing Homebrew. Is it your sense that this is a false rumor? Has Homebrew made your Wii buggy at all? I am really tempted; I want those extra Mario Kart tracks.
I like Tetris, in fact I am hooked on it.
theres this game I played on emulator recently called Fragile Dreams, Farewell Ruins of the Moon, it’s a Jrpg type game, but not turn based combat or anything, ad if I remember correctly the controls are similar to twilight princess. It was also really pretty and the main character was voiced by (my waifu) Johnny Young Bosh.
