What are your neighbors like?

I’ve just moved to this area. The houses to my mind are tiny and not very private. If I am in my garden I can basically see my neighbors if they are in theirs. We all whisper to keep privacy. Ugh!

Having said that my neighbors don’t greet me and have never spoken to me at all. Which makes it odd. Since if I do go outside which is not often due to foul weather we are so close yet ignore each other. I am kind of used to friendly neighbors and a community kind of chatty atmosphere. Sigh, I am finding settling in quite hard.
