Homecoming shoes help?

I am not a fashionista in any way, shape or form, so take this with a grain of salt! It sounds like this dress needs some kind of height to the shoe for it to look right. There is something called a “kitten heel” which is typically one inch or a touch less. What about a silver sandal with a really low heel?

I second kitten heels.

Typically you want something a couple of shades darker than the hem of your dress, unless you’re going with a complementary color. Silver would work. Just make sure your accessories complement it.

You might be able to get some sort of ballet slippers that match.

Kitten heels look lovely, and you can find them as low as ½”.
