(NSFW) Do certain foods alter the taste?

Asked by Headhurts (4505points) August 31st, 2013

I’m talking about ‘love juices’.
Are there certain foods that your s/o would eat that makes them taste better or not so good?
I know if he eats anything with garlic in, that it reaches certain parts in the next hour or so.
He tastes good anyway but if he drinks Baileys, then it tastes just like it.

If I chew on some gum during, the wife swears she can blow bubbles outta my dick.
We should enter Britain’s Got Talent with that act, we really should.

My husband tastes the same no matter what, at least as far as I’ve noticed. I don’t exactly swish the stuff around in my mouth. I’ve perfected a technique that allows me to swallow without really tasting it. However, yes, food can affect the taste. Red meat is one I know can produce yucky semen. Pineapple juice is one I hear improves the taste.

I honestly have never noticed any difference…with anyone.

Bananas for guys, citrus fruit for ladies.

I’ve been a vegetarian for 25+ years, and I wasn’t a big meat-eater before then. Whenever I did eat red meat, my skin would get a subtle, but weird, peanut-butter smell. It took me a while to figure out the connection – no meat, no odor. I don’t know if this affected the taste of my skin, but I found the scent very unappealing.

A woman I knew did not eat a particularly healthy diet, she did not taste well at all, a bit fishy and a bit of odor. My last girlfriend ate a good healthy organic mostly vegetable diet, no processed foods, and tasted sweet and delightful. Other women have fit in that spectrum: the healthier the diet, the better they taste.

I know that porn actors drink pineapple juice to make their semen more palatable for their co-stars.

My experience tracks with that of @zenvelo. A healthier diet results in better flavors for your partner.

Sugars and alcohol lots of refined foods equal nasty semen lots of water makes it more palatable in large doses.

Citrus does improve and spinach or heavy greens do provide a strong taste.

I don’t know the science behind it, the proofs or the lack of proofs related to the topic but in my experience yes certain foods do change the taste. I have been with different women who at different times in the relationship have changed their diets and then within a few weeks their taste changed as well. I will add that the level of exercise & water intake was also a factor. For instance, two people on the same vegetarian diet – the one who exercises more regularly & drinks more water tastes yummier than the one who doesn’t. That’s based on my experiences and not any real science.
