Do you have experience using the Kindle Fire HD?

I am thinking of buying the Kindle Fire HD 7”, 16 GB. I would use it mostly for reading books.

I own the original Kindle and love it. My only complaint is that it’s very cumbersome to use the toggle switch at the bottom of the device to navigate around a keyboard and to find things I want.

Is the Kindle Fire HD that much superior?
