Other than what @downtide said, the only other bridge song I can think of is “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon and Garfunkel. It’s a pretty good song.

I never use sarcasm, only irony. But I get your point. My high school Engiish teacher had us read “The Bridge of San Luis Rey”(written in 1927) and write a long paper about it. Probably it’s never been required reading anywhere since.

Yeah, irony seems to be a more accurate description, not that I was bothered in any way, just pointing out that your subsequent offering was a more worthy effort.
