How are people feeling about the new judges announced for American Idol?

I quit watching when Simon left.

Hey! I’m a Harry Connick Jr. fan, but I’d rather listen to his music or watch a film he’s in.

so then will you be watching xfactor when it starts next week??

I have never watched this show, and this lot doesn’t indicate a change ahead in my viewing habits.
Harry Connick is very talented, and was super creepy in “Copycat”, but I don’t see him as exciting.
Keith Urban is country, so that is boring to me.
As for Ms. Lopez, well, there is always room for J.Lo.

@filmfann he was very creepy in copycat! I like that movie though! Yes, I think a lot of people have given up on the show, it looks as though its on a permanent decline!

Those shows are fucking terrible, can’t stand them.
Connick Jr. was fantastic in Copycat, shoulda played the bad guy some more.

(yawn). Never watched it, never will. I don’t watch any shows like that.

I can do without Keith Urban. He’s always too nice.
Harry Connick Jr could be an interesting addition. I think he’s funny. He’s also pretty easy to look at.
I love JLo. I’m super excited that she’s back.
I’m going to miss Randy as a judge, but at least he’s still on the show.

I really don’t know why I still watch though. The show is totally rigged.

I’m looking forward to drooling over Keith for a few weeks. I wasn’t a huge fan of J-Lo, but I liked her better than Mariah. I also like Harry Connick Jr. He’s pretty funny, so it should be entertaining. As for Randy as a mentor – it’s no surprise, considering that’s what he said he was planning on doing. I’m glad he’s not leaving altogether.

No one can replace Simon, but I’m just really excited to get rid of Mariah and Nikki this year.

I think they all suck, Simon was my kinda guy. Let them milk the last few years, most of us are over it.
