Is it a good idea to put ones dental work live for the patient to watch on the t.v.
They have 30 or so channels for the patient to watch while being worked on. Is it a good idea to add a 31st and show the patent what work is being done on them live.

I guess if someone really wants to watch that, then why not? Nobody’s privacy would be violated.
Doesn’t appeal to me. I’m not even interested when my high-tech dentist offers to show me on-screen where a cavity or a gum problem is—in living color, yet. I prefer he just do whatever has to do to get me the hell outta there as fast as possible.
This, from a man who’s going through a lot of dental work right now.
I’ve had a lot of fillings and a few root canals and crowns. It’s all magic to me, and having working teeth is tied with having eyeglasses as a miracle and blessing for me.
But I would not want to watch the dentistry live. I close my eyes and relax as well as I can.
I don’t want to be worrying if any particular step looks wrong (as if I would know).
NO! I am glad like @jaytkay said that dental science is something we are lucky enough to have in our lifetimes and I too have had lots of work done. But it has always been a fear of mine, seeing it up close while it’s happening would be an absolute nightmare for me.
Ugh, I don’t want to watch that!!
I am glad for all visual information—but not while I am unable even to grit my teeth and bear it. Before . . . or after, I’m all eyes.
