Can people get over their first love?

It seems that my mind always comes back to my first love.

When I’m seeing someone knew I always think of my first love and I feel like he’ll never leave my mind why is that ?

I wont even say that I’m in love with him but I don’t understand why he still wander my mind even after 5 years :S

Will he ever get out of my mind lol
