Yeah, the financial penalty that Obama put off until 2015 I believe. We get our healthcare update in November and they’ll go over all of it at that time.

How can we expect that to affect us?

My tax lady said anyone without insurance will be charged around $500 per year, not sure if that’s per person or household. I’ll let you know after I hear.

That’s like $42 a month. Not bad if it’s for a household.

@Dutchess_III Probably get pushed until after 2016— lol

Sure – most of it was never supposed to go into effect until 2014 anyway.

NPR has been doing a pretty good job covering this, and their web page (although not as easy to navigate as I had hoped) may help you find answers to your questions. http://www.npr.org/series/106181837/tracking-the-overhaul

This video summarizes the ACA – just thought I’d share it here. www.upworthy.com/the-simplest-explanation-of-obamacare-ever

ET Pro posted that yesterday. I passed it on to fb. I also listened to Prez. O’s speech to the college the other day.

Thanks! I’m excited about it!
