Could I be pregnant?

Asked by bwilliams4611 (4points) September 28th, 2013 from iPhone

I am a week late for my period. I am having symptoms of being pregnant. I have been moody, headaches, using the bathroom a lot more, been having a little bit of nausea, and just have been feeling blah lately. I took a home pregnancy test a few days ago but it was negative, I will be taking another one in the morning. But, my main question is that today I started bleeding, it started off a little brown color, but now has turned red and this afternoon it seems to get a little heavier. I read that it could be implantation bleeding, I’m just confused. Could it be implantation bleeding or my period? Because, I was late a week. Any answers are greatly appreciated! Help me figure out what I should do! Thank you!

I still can’t figure out why people ask if they’re pregnant. We won’t be able to tell you 100% no matter what. You could have been late for a number of reasons that have nothing to do with being pregnant. And any implantation bleeding would be light and usually not bright red. If you were pregnant and heavily bleeding red, that would indicate a problem. Since you’re bleeding now, you’re probably having a period. If you experience any intense pain or unusual amount of cramping, go to a hospital and explain that you think you may be pregnant. But it’s unlikely. Take another test to be sure. But odds are, you’re period was simply late.

Yeah, I don’t get why people ask this question.

Did you have sex?
Yes.
Then you could be pregnant.

Have you been fuckin’? If so, you could be pregnant.

You could be. Maybe, maybe not. In case you are, may I suggest “dww” as a name? Or maybe something simple like “Ted” or “Bill”. I don’t like it when folks get too fancy with names. Sounds silly to me. To each his own I reckon.

If you are usually regular it is very unlikely it is implantation, that happens within days after ovulation, not after a missed period. Unless this happened to be an irregular cycle for and you ovulated a different time than usual. You could be miscarrying. No way for us to really know. If you are going into a full blown period with typical bleeding and cramping, it isn’t likely you are staying pregnant if you are pregnant, but it is worth doing another preggers test. Many women have bleeding when they are pregnant. A blood test would be the most accurate.

Yes, you are pregnant.

There, happy?

How would a bunch of people 2000 miles away have any reasonable medical knowledge about you?

@rarebear don’t you hate it when women have the audacity to answer pregnancy questions before a male doctor can. Infuriating.

I suggest you start buying baby clothes.

@drhat77 Ha ha! Well, what were the first signs that you were pregnant the first time? Was it what you expected? :)~

You guys are funny!

I’d say yes. Especially since it appears you’ve started your period.

Wait! Wait! She (I am assuming it’s a “she”) also asked “Help me figure out what I should do! ”

I just have no idea how to answer that. o~o

You didn’t mention whether you’ve had sex in the last few weeks. If you have, then yes you could be pregnant. If you haven’t then you’re definitely not.
