Is it possible that dreams of flying are memories of weightlessness?

The question maybe problematic for persons of faith. I do not mean to offend. I tend towards the “Ancient Astronaut Theory ”. However I had a dream of flying the other night & then the next day read a piece on being in a no gravity environment , which gave rise to the question, are those dreams memories of being weightless? I suppose they could also be remnants of memories of being in the womb but I have always associated motion, or a destination with flying dreams, which I don’t think would surface otherwise.

Maybe it’s a desire to be free, to fly.
Possible? Yes. Probable? Absolutely not.
what about the weightlessness of being suspended in the womb? Nothing supernatural about that.
@rojo Nobody remembers being suspended in the womb. The brain is not developed enough for those memories.
How can you say that @Rarebear? Can you say that you remember that you don’t remember?
@rojo I can say it because it’s true. If you can show me verified evidence of the contrary I will happily change my mind. Key word here is “verified”.
Do not call it a theory. It does not even qualify for the title of hypothesis.
I dreamt I was flying once, that was only because I watched The Snowman the night before.
“We’re walking through the air.”
No, they’re not memories of being weightless.
Well we might be able to somewhat have primitive sorts of memories of being in the womb but as I said I always associate this sensation of going from point a to point b.Just curious as to what others may think about this….. the things you ponder when driving around on a tractor in circles in a hay field…
Perhaps a remnant of our time in our mother’s womb.
