Can you help me find a table that can estimate what one might pay for insurance under the ACA, according to income, etc?

Did you go to healthcare.gov? I think that is your best source.

That didn’t seem to get me anywhere…..no estimates. Nothing unless I actually apply.

Also, it will vary quite wildly by state, so which are we talking about?

Can’t you check the pricing before you apply? In California you can.

That’s what I’d like to do. I’ve been searching but haven’t found anything. I went to healthcare.gov for an estimate, and they started asking questions about me which seemed like a good start, but in the end they just sent me to a bunch of (basically) commonly asked questions. I guess I was supposed to figure that out for myself.

I just want something I can plug numbers into and come up with a dollar amount.

try covered.com anyway just go get an idea. its not your state but it will probably get upi in the ballpark.

This seems to work: http://kff.org/interactive/subsidy-calculator/. It’s a ‘subsidy calculator’, but it also gives premium info. It may be based on old snapshot data, but it should give something decent.

@Judi Got “This domain has been registered, but is not currently being used for any web services because you posted that nasty, gross picture on fb and @Judi saw it!”

No, really it did. Except for not the part about the picture.

Server not found. Yes, it was gross.

Very strange. Just google California healthcare exchange.

All mine said is that I didn’t qualify for subsidies so I could apply or read more.

I think this is the official site for Kansas. For the record, if that is accurate my cost would be 34 dollars per month for health insurance after credits. That is awesome compared to the 600 per month for COBRA I was offered.
