Not very often, I am big on not taking out my moods on others, nor absorbing others projections.
If I get exasperated it is because they are ignorant jackasses not because I am projecting my mood onto them. haha
When I am in a grumpy mood I isolate myself from social situations until it passes, that includes fluther.
Oh, yes. A few people annoy me so, I don“t read their posts. It’s a clash of personality which only I know about.
I usually just laugh at the awkward bastards & rotate the other buttock (turn the other cheek)
Some idiots would test the patience of a saint & are marked out for “special treatment.”
I think @Sunny2 got the answer spot on. If you don’t like someone, don’t read or comment on their posts. Would be so much more easier. Some people though, still like to comment just to annoy, when in reality they have no idea what they are talking about. I wouldn’t comment on something I didn’t have a clue about.
Never, ever, ever. I was just voted “Ms. Equanimity.”
Not emotionally, but I think some people have a weird logic.
I’m sure I have no idea what you’re taking about.
^^^ Weren’t you my first runner-up?
I thought we tied, but it might have been a miscount.
Sore loser. (I saw all those five-year olds stuffing the ballot boxes.)
^Something about hanging chads.
Definitely. One member in particular comes to mind right now. This person can’t seem to post a question without it turning into some annoying war that really boils down to, “I’m right and you’re wrong! Na na na boo boo, stick your head in doo doo!”
Not very often. I do get irritated with some users, when they won’t/can’t take advice that will help them, especially when they ask the same Q over and over and over again, with a slightly different wording, but I try to keep my irritation in check, do as much research as I can before I answer, and count to 10 or 100 or in some situations 1000 before I answer, so I won’t come across as being mean or cranky.
Not sure that’s always helped, but I do try.
Yes. I’m actually right about most things and when someone questions my cornucopia of wisdom it irritates me to no end.
Just a few of them. Constantly.
Not often, but I have done it.
Sometimes, I feel that Fluther is just a glorified version of Reddit, with “TIL that…” replaced with “Did you know that…”
@flutherother Record your voice again and my crankiness will disappear. :-)
I must confess I do it only to the extent that it energizes me and bow out when I’ve had enough.
There’s only one person on Fluther who seems to piss me off with everything they post and yet, rather than just skip past their contributions, I choose to read them every time and allow myself to get in a state of Oh shut the fuck up!!! (I never say it, I just think it) with everything they have to say!! I really have no one to blame but myself for that!
Is this in General?
No?
Then piss off!
@rojo Will move it General then.
@janbb a feeble attempt at humor.
Now your just irritating me
You asked this just to piss me off, didn’t you!?!
I might get a bit cranky. Sometimes. Maybe. Just a little bit.
No. I just don’t answer if I have nothing nice to say. There is really only one person that gets on my nerves with their silly, repetitive, contradictory questions.
Just got cranky with someone here. But I laughed it off.
Yes. That’s why I’m hardly here. That and am losing interest.
Sure, we see them almost daily lately but it’s cool to see people stand up for themselves too.
Always cantankerous, never cranky.
I take long breaks from blogging and posting these days. There’s no way around it, debating/argueing with others who don’t agree with you can be stressful, whether it’s on or offline. Thank god I’m busy with other things in my life.
