Is this an "quantum mechanic" example?

Asked by Strauss (23835points) October 29th, 2013

I’m wondering if this guy is a “quantum” mechanic. He must operate on the uncertainty principle, because on a given day it is uncertain whether or not he will show up as expected. He’s had my car up on blocks (zero kinetic energy) in my driveway for about 6 weeks now, and he has been a n-show for about 24 hours. He’s a good technician, and definitely knows the ins and outs of an auto engine but very much like the Schrödinger’s cat, I have to wait until he either shows up or does not in order to know if the job is going to be finished today.

Cute.
He probably just has poor scheduling and management skills if he’s such a good mechanic.

You can wave at him. If he waves back he might be a mechanic, or not.
