Anyone else notice that it's picking up here and there are good vibes all around?

The new people seem nice. I would friend more of them, but the ladies here already think I am too easy.
Yes! What a lovely group of new members. Maybe they will even influence we cranky old-timers into behaving better.
Yes, some new funny bones in the house…sheesh..I get so sick of intensity and seriousness…have some fun gang!

I’m glad! It sort of reminds me of the aura of Fluther a few years ago. Too bad a lot of Jellies left, but it’s certainly great to see new Jellies.
@chyna I though that was gonna be a link to Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch at first.
@dxs I’m in a different generation apparently.
@chyna In this case, good. But I won’t deny that I like (most) 90s music.
What’s really cool about the latest influx is that they hit the ground running. They seem pre-trained on the guidelines and there are no “What does this dream mean?” questions. It’s as if a rare storm delivered a new bloom of Jellies into the tide pool.
Haha! I love the Beach Boys. My dad is a huge fan, so they were one of the first bands I ever heard.
@Pied_Pfeffer They’re not asking if they could be pregnant either!
@Pied_Pfeffer Hahaha…brilliant! Well..it seems the new kids actually have an IQ above that of a root vegetable.
Me ? You’re talking about ME, aren’t you, Coloma ??
Listen, I’m smart !!
(OK, maybe it’s just Fredo-in-The-Godfather-wanting-respect smart….but still….)
@OneBadApple Haha…hey you’re a fruit. Apples and carrots ya know. :-)
Eh. I must be a naysayer. It’s my duty.
I am still mostly a voyeur. Remember, I’m watching you.
Oh, come on. I’m offline for a couple of days, and this is what you guys have to say?!
That’s what happens when you have a largely welcoming group of jellies which has not always been the case.. Credit all round sounds about right.
Come on in! The water’s fine!
It’s a lurvely day in the neighborhood!
@Pied_Pfeffer I think the Askville influx was easy because:
1.) We’re used to interacting on a similar format and
2.) We came in knowing each other. We weren’t as intimidated by the 100,000 lurve members and we could give each other tips and pointers (a number were already one-time Fluther members.)
3.) We lost our home. There WAS no ‘take my ball and go home.
It’s worked out better than I ever would have imagined. You have a new Freshmen Class (rather than the stray 3rd grader wandering into FlutherU), and we got a new place to enjoy.
It’s fun learning here, too. I met Meta today when one of my questions got bumped here and I couldn’t find it. :-)
YOU’VE BEEN A GREAT BUNCH.
It has gone much, much more smoothly than the migrations that happened in years past.
Well maybe the rare birds finally flocked up and ditched the Cuckoos & Vultures.
There is no accounting for phenomenons in nature. lol
In the past, we have (cough, cough) sort of resented new mass influxes but I think we have now grown tired of gazing at each other’s navels. We are so happy to have new fluff to pick!
Yes. I haven’t gotten into a huge argument in quite some time. Pretty cool. But I sort of miss the arguing.
I’d never pretend fight with the likes of you, @ucme, you abominable twat! ;)
Yeah, talk dirty some more you tubby little tit witch :)
