Find yourself spending less time at your desk?

Ever since I got my iPhone, I have found that I only use my desktop computer for, at the most, 15 minutes a day. Everything that I did on my computer can now be done in the palm of my hands. Just wanted to hear your comments.

I don't mean to be rude. But, the way this website is set-up doesn't work well for chatting. It isn't a forum. It would be cool if people would ask questions that have actual answers.
I could be totally off base and your question is fine.. I am in no way affiliated with this website. With a single list of questions on the frontpage it is going to get moving very fast. With questions that can't be answered. Something like, "What cool things can I do with my new iPhone?" would be cool.
yes i have been spending less time on my laptop but i still have to use my laptop because i am not good at seeing on a tiny screen and the iPhone doesnt let me stream movies
@johnpowell- the community doesnt mind these "chatting" questions. why doesnt this question have "actual answers"""
vincent we should have a poll as to whether or not to have "chatting questions" om fluther??
mirza, I think something like a "discussion" tab would be better ;-)
Or, people that want to chat should just go somewhere where you're meant to chat about nothing.
Or, as this question is more that sharing of an opinion, one could start a weblog ;-)
There's a question here, just not easy to find. The question is "If you have an iphone, have you been using your computer less?" It is a legit question. Yes it is prompting for more discussion, but it's still a question.
@ vincentt If you really have that slow of a connection, maybe you should ask for a feature that shows the entire question like a preview before you click. Instead of complaining about it not being a good question when you get to a page.
Oh dear, an uprising. =(
And perchik nailed my question.
Or, if you feel like the question is more chatty than substantive you could... not read it! Why waste everyone's time getting hung up about it?
To answer the original question, well, I can't actually answer the original question because I don't have an iPhone. But, I found the question interesting enough to look into the answers. Thanks, fuse1921, for asking it.
Well, I was just saying that I could find myself in what johnpowell said. In fact, I wasn't even going to reply to that, but then mirza said:
the community doesnt mind these "chatting" questions. why doesnt this question have "actual answers"""
And I thought: "wait, I'm part of 'the community' too". I'm not really "hung up" about it, it was just a minor glitch that I wanted to point out.
My point is.. Questions like, "What was the best decade for Rock and Roll." are bullshit. This can't be answered. The way the site is set up now will result in good questions getting pushed off the front page for inevitable influx of shitty questions. Some heavy-handed moderation is needed.
johnpowell: apparently you don't mind being rude, calling people's questions bullshit. I actually enjoyed this discussion (and the question) until your last comment.
vincentt: I really like your discussion tab idea.
wiw this has to be the question with the most arguments in fluther history.
i wonder what ben and andrew think of this??
