To answer a question, I jammed this into my brain.
I don’t mind.

New to me, and that’s not easily done!
:-)
Very cool @Judi. Great tune!
This
(My sisters are going to Disneyland today)
Never overly fond of the Beatles, I enjoyed the hell out of your vid, @zenvelo!
@ibstubro I love Zooey’s voice, but Leon’s doesn’t do much for me. I prefer this version by Lady Antebellum. It’s the country in me, I guess.
I actually dislike a lot of holiday music, but I really enjoy that song.
I’m envious, @filmfann. I’ve never been to Disneyland and, as a borderline diabetic, it’s probably too late now. :-)
@livelaughlove21 when I was a kid, Leon was a SNL regular and his voice became an acquired taste.
I like country a lot. I also played the Johnny Mercer version on the Tube. To me, it’s all good.
Leonard Cohen – ‘Hallelujah’
Usually, whatever song is playing on my radio when I wake up gets stuck in my head. Today, it’s Royals by Lorde.
@ibstubro Wouldn’t be a good sequel without it !!
KD Lang is way up there in terms of covering this song.
@WillWorkForChocolate One of the greatest gifts of Fluther is connecting the world through chat.
Thanks! Enjoyed the song.
Frack me this morning! Another jelly told me I was a “gas” last night and after reading the thread this morning all I can hear in my head is that damn old Stones tune ” Jumpin’ Jack Flash, it’s a gas, gas, gas…”
The Tumbled Sea album from 09 is stuck in my head now from other question here on fluther. I’ve really just been in a huge down tempo melodic music kick lately. Gives me the feels :P
I love when these types of music threads pop up on fluther. I always find something new :)
@tups That sinks it! You are EVIL! OMG! Nooooo…..
@Coloma What what? What evilness have I done?
@tups I’m not even going to link to that one until there’s some sort of vaccine.
:-)
@tups Joooleeene, Jooooleeene…. make it stop!
@Coloma fingers in ears nah,nah,nah,nah,nah,nah…......
I can’t hear you!
Not sure why, but this randomly popped into my head.
Wow, @uberbatman. Obscure, much? :-)
What’s the point of all that fringe if you don’t shake it?
Thanks!!
Wow, that’s cool @zenvelo. New to me!
:)
This damn thing because I used it in a meeting today.
@syz That’s like a musical Chicken Pox Party! How does it feel to have a whole meeting room full of people hating you?
;-)
@zenvelo Thanks….. I have this stuck in my head now. Could be worse I guess.
There’s karaoke going on across from my room, so I keep singing over and over again whatever they sing. But I heard Chameleon today and I’ve been singing it ever since. (The catchy part starts at 2:16.)
@ibstubro Yea, I’ve gone into full on nostalgia mode now. I keep finding songs I totally forgot about, I like it .
Nice, new-to-the-thread sound, @dxs!
Very Simon and Garfunkleish, @Smitha. Thanks. S&G are one of my faves. “Hello, lamp post, whatcha knowin? How’s your flowers growin?”
I have had Needle in the Hay (Elliott Smith) looping in my head most of this evening.
Crap @tom_g. We’re still here, if that’s enough of a lifeline.
New to me, and a great song, @Haleth.
Thanks!
I never realized how much Jesus looked like Dan Fogelberg
Unimpressed @OneBadApple I prefer a little more timber. Pretty boi. Pretty voice. Pretty potential bubble gum pop-star. lol
:)
I was feeling a bit blue this morning, and went on a run and this was the first song and really picked up my spirits: Cruel to be Kind
Nick Lowe always perks me up!
Good for you, @zenvelo! Music tames the savage beast of depression. :)
(You may not care, but it is savage breast. The original quote is “Music has charms to soothe a savage breast.’’
From the play The Mourning Bride , by William Congreve.)
I KNEW that Gailie was going to show up….I just KNEW IT !!
Thanks, @gailcalled! I didn’t know that, and I know tons of worthless random crap!
Well, for all intensive purposes, it really does not matter….
Well your obviously not using you’re brain this afternoon. Your really going to have to buckle-down, young man, if you want to improve you’re grades…
Fork you, there’s knit a dads-bum thing wrong with my brian.
HEY !!.....That’s my son’s name…..Brain !!
