It’s not really that simple. Blue is a primary color. Unless you make it really blue you will end up with some shade of purple/lavendar. Blue and red make purple.
agreed, you’ll probably have to go platinum first and then blue unless you’re ok with a more purplely shade. If you’re going cerulean, you won’t be able to do that over pink
Why would you want blue hair anyway? If you wait a few years, it will turn grey on its own and think of how much money you’ll have saved!!
Like others have said, you will need to get rid of the pink first in order to get a nice clean blue color. What shade of pink is your hair now? What shade of blue are you going for? Do you mind a bit of a purplish tint?
Buy a box of blond hair dye (avoid ash shades though), then go to a beauty supply store and look for either Color Ion or Manic Panic in the shade you like the best…..I do not recommend buying a box of blue dye from the grocery store or pharmacy because they bleed blue fucking everywhere like you wouldn’t believe, anything that touches your hair will be blue and it’s a pain in the ass. Color Ion and manic panic will also rub off onto pillows over time, but it’s nowhere near as bad as box blue shit. Also, do not try Beyond The Zone for any shades of blue because they won’t work….it’s unfortunate because they make great shades of pink that are fairly long lasting but their shades of blue give the same results as using kool-aid packets in your hair, it’s a dingy very light blue that will look more like you spent too much time in chlorine.
Knock yourself out. Guys with blue hair look stupid. If you want to look stupid, that’s your right – no one’s stopping you.
@TheRealOldHippie That’s not true….it just has to be done right in a good shade. Don’t be a hater.
