I feel strong Cabin Fever, and I cycle to the opposite, wanting to hybernate , what do I do?
I was told that I had Asperger’s and some times being alone and in charge is fine other times it is not. right now I am cycling back and forth, and it Is frustrating. Name brand pop and a half a snickers bar helps. Do you have a term for what I am going through so I can Google it and treat myself?

Go outside…to a park or something. Just walk around or sit at a bench. How this has to do with your social life I’m not quite sure.
OD’ing on sugar, in soda and candy bars, will do nothing for your social life or any other part of your life. I’m not sure, either, what you mean by your social life.
From your question, it sounds like you’re spending most of your time indoors and alone, and that you’re alternating between restlessness and listlessness. Is that right?
A less extreme version of this happens to me during the winter. I’ll go through periods of low energy where all I want to do is lay around the house watching TV. Depression and low energy go hand-in-hand, especially during the wintertime. Less daylight and less to do make you feel bored and wanting to hibernate.
After a while, you start to feel stir crazy and want to do anything, as long as it’s active. But if the feeling strikes at 3 AM in the winter on a Tuesday, it’s not like you can really go anywhere.
A first step to breaking this cycle is to try and stick to some sort of routine. Try to get up at a reasonable hour of the morning; get dressed and eat a healthy breakfast even if you’re not going anywhere. Next, spend some time out of the house, even if it’s only going for a walk or to the library.
Getting a reasonable amount of sleep and exercise really help with this. Part of the problem is not feeling mentally engaged enough, but a big part of it is that your physical energy levels are all out of whack.
