What could you sell if you really had to?

Imagine one day you were made redundant and hand no other chance of finding a regular job, what skill, service or product could you offer people in order to make money?
Some of us have skills we have never thought of like:
-a life coach?
- fitness instructor?
-sell jam or pickles ?
If your life and livelihood depended on it could you offer something? Anything?

I’ve got plenty of “stuff” I could sell. I could probably live modestly for six months on my watch alone.
As far as skills go. I would probably go back to managing apartments. Rent and utilities paid plus a salary.
I like being semi retired though. We have set ourselves up to have “mailbox money.” That means we go to the mailbox and get a check. Wise investments, living lean and a few very lucky breaks when we were younger.
Honey, I could sell ice-cubes to Eskimos. And I’m not kidding.
I’m not selling my watch. I’m not. And things are looking grim.
I thought this was about taking a job as a commissioned salesperson or something. I could never be a check out person or an untrained sales help who couldn’t answer a customer’s question. I’d need it to be a challenge and maybe a little competition.
Taking tuition classes have become a “trend” among school going children. Being a Commerce Graduate, I guess I’ll gladly be a Home Tutor.
I would get a real estate license, and also look into polishing silver. I can’t find anyone to do that for me in time for Thanksgiving.
I would try either baking, tutoring or dog training.
I’m an artist. I probably wouldn’t make enough money to live on but I could make a little by painting portraits of people’s pets.
I’ve never been without work since age 12, I can do just about anything. And people generally love me and hook a sista up, maybe not here, but in RL I’m good- lol
I collect antiques, and one day I wondered if could identify 100 items in the house that would sell for at least $100, and how long it would take.
What a bore. I don’t think I left the dining room, and I was counting as fast as could.
:-)
Get a car or shoe buffer, @YARNLADY. POWER that polishing UP.
I guess I could sell one of my watches and/or one of my cars.
My mother’s jewelry I got when she died.
